Dry Ice is available in bulk and in personal usage amounts.
Prolong your wet ice!
Use dry ice to prolong the life of your wet ice. Place Dry Ice in the bottom of your coolers, cover completely with wet ice and then pack your cooler as normal. The cooler will keep items cold for approximately 3 to 4 days.
To FREEZE products, place dry ice on top of items to be frozen. To COOL products, place dry ice on bottom of cooler, then cover with insulating material or wet ice, then place food and beverages on top . Do not allow products to be cooled to come in direct contact with dry ice.
APPROXIMATE COOLING TIMES – DRY ICE WRAPPED IN PLASTIC OR PAPER AND PLACED IN AN INSULATED COOLER
5 to 10 lbs. – 18 to 24 Hours
10 to 15 lbs.– 24 to 40 Hours
15 to 20 lbs – 40 to 60 Hours
Use Dry Ice to keep your frozen foods frozen and your refrigerated foods chilled during planned and emergency power outages.
Place perishables below dry ice.
Place perishables above dry ice. Use approximately 1.5 pounds of Dry Ice per cubic foot of freezer/refrigerator space.
CAUTION: Do not place Dry Ice directly on glass shelf!
